This was a one day time problem for M.Arch in 1971 at the Department of Architecture, University of Roorkee (now Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee). The project was to design a highway service station to demonstrate integration of concerns of structure, services and form.
In the 1970's, the M.Arch program at Roorkee was focused on design studios, (and many as time problems) focusing on themes like structure, form, or specific design methods or frames like urban design, ecology, acoustics that were taught as theory courses.
